Room No. 12 in Kościelisko – why children don't want to leave it

Sometimes I know right after entering which room will be "the favorite".

And very often it is room number 12.

In Kościelisko we have several rooms and each is different, but this one has something special.

Especially for children.

And honestly — a bit also for adults 😊

"Can we sleep up there?"

This question is always asked.

Not "do you like the room."

Not "where will we put the suitcases."

Only:

"Can we get onto that bed?"

Because in room number 12 there is something that immediately draws attention.

A bed in a nook.
One that you climb up a ladder to reach.

A bit like a base.
A bit like a secret place.

Children have their own world

And suddenly something happens that I see very often as the owner.

Children... disappear.

They sit up there:

• reading
• playing
• hiding

And parents watch and say:
"We have a moment of silence."

And that is a moment I really like.

Kościelisko instead of Zakopane – a difference you notice in moments like these

My Guests often come first to Zakopane.

There are lots of attractions there.

But here, in Kościelisko, something different happens.

Children don't need animation.

They just need:

• space
• an idea
• and a place like that bed

A family room that offers a bit of privacy

Room number 12 is very often chosen by families.

Because everyone has their own space here.

Children — their "base".
Parents — a moment of peace.

And suddenly a mountain trip stops being logistics and starts being relaxation.

As the owner I see one thing

It's not always the view that makes the biggest impression.

Sometimes it's a detail.

Like that bed in the nook.

Because those are exactly the things Guests remember the most.

And in the morning everyone comes down for breakfast anyway

And then the story repeats itself.

The children ask first:
"Will there be waffles today too?"

And Jan is already standing by the waffle iron.

Mornings like this are the norm at Willa Izydor .

And you are wondering between Zakopane and Kościelisko… I will just say this:

sometimes one room can change the whole trip.

And room number 12 does this surprisingly often.
