Comfortable pet-friendly stay
Tatras trails for dogs from Willa Izydor
Tourists often wonder where in the Tatras they can walk with a dog. Remember that the Tatra National Park (TPN) strictly prohibits animals, even on a leash.
From our Villa, you have excellent access to several legal trails!
Chochołowska Valley with a dog
This is the most popular and fully legal walking route. Reaching Siwa Polana takes just a few minutes by car. It's one of the few valleys open for exploring with pets!
Gubałówka
A great spot for a scenic walk. You can drive, take the cable car, or hike up the trail. For the cable car, buy an extra ticket for pets (around 5 PLN) and keep your pet on a leash and muzzled.
Droga pod Reglami with a dog
Beautiful and easy forest-edge trail, perfect for daily walks with your dog.
Płazówka Meadow
A picturesque and peaceful spot outside TPN. Here you’ll find vast meadows, stunning Tatra views, and a historic wooden chapel.
Where dogs are strictly prohibited in
We clarify common doubts: Kościeliska Valley and Biały Valley are off-limits to dogs. Similarly, we cannot reach peaks like Nosal or enter Rusinowa Glade. When choosing routes in Zakopane with a dog, plan trips outside strict national park areas.
Holidays with a dog in the mountains
Wondering how to spend the perfect holidays with your dog without leaving your pet at a kennel? Our Villa welcomes you year-round for unforgettable stays. We offer excellent conditions for every long weekend, holiday, or seasonal break.
- Christmas and New Year's Eve. A winter trip to the Tatras is magical. Remember to protect your dog's paws from snow, frost, and salt during winter walks and watch out for slippery trail sections.
- Easter and May holidays. Spring’s awakening is perfect for long walks. On weekdays and early mornings, trails are less crowded, meaning fewer stress triggers for your pet.
- Holidays with your dog. Summer vacation means active days. When hiking with your dog in hot weather, bring enough water and avoid the sunniest hours.
